Tracking Label Webinar Series

Scalable Tracking System

While the requirements Section 103 of the CPSIA seems daunting, it can be done in a way which is scalable and completely manageable.

RDIA Legal Committee offered a series of webinars for manufacturers on a tracking label system any manufacturer can implement.  The series covers requirements and implementation of the August 2009 tracking label portion of the CPSIA, Section 103.

During the webinars, participants learned a scalable method for tracking fabric lots, supply batches, and production runs. Start from the moment fabric comes in to the time a finished product leaves with its permanent tracking label in full compliance to CPSIA stipulations. The system will work for you whether you manufacture in batches of tens of thousands, hundreds or one at a time.

The scalable tracking label system is designed with all levels of manufacturing in mind and is adaptable to each individual company's practices.

Manufacturer and Legal Committee Chair Leah Carter (Better for Babies) authored and led the webinars.
